Paysafecard casinos in Canada: prepaid deposits and how you cash out

Payment cards and a casino banking screen on a phone
Quick summary
Paysafecard is a prepaid 16-digit PIN sold in Canada from C$10 to C$250. On November 8, 2026 we confirmed Paysafecard deposits on the public payment pages of four casinos: Jackpot City, bet365, PlayOJO's Ontario site and Spin Casino. All four treat it as deposit only, so set up Interac or another withdrawal method first and expect an ID check before your first cashout. In Ontario, play only at sites on the iGaming Ontario list. You must be 19 in Ontario; elsewhere the minimum is 18 or 19 depending on your province.

A Paysafecard casino in Canada lets you deposit with a prepaid PIN instead of a card number or a bank login. On November 8, 2026, the public payment pages of four casinos we review named Paysafecard for Canadian players: Jackpot City, bet365, PlayOJO and Spin Casino. A voucher can't receive money, so you cash out another way, and the casino checks your identity before it pays. In Ontario or Alberta, the provincial site is the one that counts.

Online casinos that accept Paysafecard in Canada

We can't open a logged-in cashier from Canada, so each row rests on the operator's own public payments page or help centre, read on November 8, 2026. Our older records list Paysafecard at several more sites, but we couldn't confirm it on their public pages that day, so they aren't in the table. If the cashier doesn't show Paysafecard for your province, the cashier is right.

Ratings are our editorial ratings out of 5. Visit links are affiliate links; we may earn a commission, which does not change the ratings. bet365 and Spin Casino have no affiliate link with us. The links go to each brand's main site, not a provincial one, so Ontario and Alberta players should use the section below. 18+ or 19+ depending on your province. T&Cs apply.

Jackpot City has the top rating here at 4.5/5. Its Canadian payments page shows Paysafecard for deposits but not withdrawals, and lists Interac, Visa and eCheck for cashing out. The operator, Baytree Interactive, and jackpotcitycasino.com appear on the Kahnawake Gaming Commission's permit-holder list. More in our Jackpot City review.

bet365 (4.2/5) runs separate help centres for Ontario and Alberta, and both list Paysafecard deposits from C$10 to C$400. Two details matter: bet365 asks you to pay from a my paysafecard account rather than by typing a PIN, and after a Paysafecard deposit it pays out by bank transfer. See our bet365 review.

PlayOJO (3.7/5) has a Paysafecard page on playojo.ca, its Ontario site, which describes PIN deposits in Canadian dollars and says you can't withdraw to Paysafecard. It doesn't name the alternative. We couldn't open PlayOJO's international Paysafecard page that day, so this row covers playojo.ca only. More in our PlayOJO review.

Spin Casino (3.3/5) is run by the same group as Jackpot City. Its Canadian payments page lists Paysafecard and Flexepin as deposit only, and Interac, eCheck and Visa among the methods that work both ways. Its Ontario page also shows Paysafecard for deposits only. Our Spin Casino review has the rest.

How Paysafecard works at an online casino

You buy a code, then spend it online by typing in the PIN. In Canada the codes are issued by paysafecard.com Schweiz GmbH, a Swiss company, under terms in force since October 7, 2023; the brand belongs to the Paysafe group, which also runs Skrill and Neteller. For how it compares with cards, e-wallets and crypto, see our casino payment methods compared.

Buying a Paysafecard in Canada

Paysafecard's Canadian site shows retail partner logos that include Canada Post, Esso and Canadian Tire Gas+, and its store locator finds outlets by address. It also points to one online partner shop, PC Game Supply. Codes come in C$10, C$30, C$50, C$100, C$150 and C$250. Buy only where paysafecard.com lists, and keep the receipt: the terms say to treat a code like cash, and a lost one isn't replaced.

Depositing with a Paysafecard PIN

  1. Open the casino cashier and choose Paysafecard.
  2. Enter the amount in Canadian dollars. Paysafecard caps a single payment at C$400, and the casino's own minimum shows in the cashier.
  3. Type the 16-digit PIN into the Paysafecard window, or log in to my paysafecard if the casino asks for it, as bet365 does. You can add several codes to one payment, and their balances are added together.
  4. Confirm. Paysafecard's terms say a validated payment can't be revoked, so check the amount first. Anything left on the code stays there for your next payment.

Cashing out when you deposited with Paysafecard

The Canadian terms say codes can't be reloaded, so your winnings leave by another method, and all four casinos above say the same on their own pages. The table shows each one's alternative; look at the withdrawal tab before you pay in.

A my paysafecard account is a free login that stores your codes, up to C$3,500 at a time according to the Canadian fees page. Some shops require it for every payment, says Paysafecard's Canadian home page, and bet365 is one. None of the four casinos pays out to it.

Paying by voucher doesn't skip the identity check. Jackpot City's payments FAQ says verification is required before any withdrawal and may include ID, proof of address and proof of the payment method, and Ontario's rules require operators to validate a player's details before opening an account. Upload your documents early; our guide to how long casino withdrawals take explains where the hours go. For unspent money on a code, Paysafecard's terms allow a refund if you send the original card, ID showing your address and a Canadian bank account number.

Paysafecard fees and limits

These come from Paysafecard's Canadian terms and its Canadian fees page, both read on November 8, 2026:

  • Paying with a code is generally free.
  • No maintenance fee is charged in the first 18 months after you buy a code. From the 19th month, C$2.50 a month comes off whatever balance is left. Codes have no expiry date, apart from promotional ones.
  • A payment in another currency costs a 3% exchange surcharge when euros are involved, and 6.09% for other currencies.
  • One payment can't exceed C$400, even when you combine codes.

Watch the surcharge: if your casino account runs in euros, every deposit pays 3% on top, so pick Canadian dollars at sign-up where you can. Paysafecard's Canadian home page mentions a monthly fee from the second month, which doesn't match the terms or the fees page; the terms say the fee is shown on your card, so check the receipt. Of the casinos, only bet365 publishes a Paysafecard range (C$10 to C$400), so read the cashier on the day.

Other prepaid vouchers: Neosurf and Flexepin

Neosurf casinos in Canada

Jackpot City's Canadian payments FAQ says you can deposit with Paysafecard or Neosurf, and that prepaid vouchers can't be used for withdrawals. It's the only casino where we confirmed Neosurf on November 8. Neosurf's own site has a store locator but doesn't say where in Canada codes are sold, so try it first.

Flexepin

Flexepin describes itself as a single-use prepaid voucher for topping up accounts on partner websites (its homepage as archived on September 1, 2026; flexepin.com returned an error on November 8). Spin Casino's Canadian payments page lists it as a deposit-only method, the only casino page where we found it. Treat it like Paysafecard: a way in, not a way out.

Paysafecard or Interac?

Pick Paysafecard to keep card and bank details out of the cashier, or for a hard spending cap: you can't deposit more than the codes you bought, and never more than C$400 at once. Pick Interac e-Transfer for one method in both directions. Interac says nearly all Canadian banks and credit unions offer e-Transfer, and Jackpot City, bet365 and Spin Casino all list Interac on the pages we checked. Our Interac casinos in Canada page lists the sites we've checked for it.

Paysafecard at Ontario and Alberta online casinos

In Ontario, play at sites on the iGaming Ontario operator list, which iGaming Ontario says was accurate as of November 6, 2026. All four casinos above have Ontario sites on it, and Paysafecard is confirmed, deposit only, on three: bet365, PlayOJO (playojo.ca) and Spin Casino. Jackpot City's Ontario pages disagree, one listing Paysafecard and the other not, so check the cashier. The minimum age in Ontario is 19. The regulator's standards allow bonus advertising only on an operator's own site or in direct marketing a player has agreed to, which is why this page shows no bonus offers. More in our Ontario online casinos guide.

Alberta registers its own online operators through AGLC. On November 8, 2026, AGLC's registrant list included bet365, Cadtree Limited for JackpotCity and Spin Casino, and Skill on Net for playojo.ca. bet365's Alberta help centre lists Paysafecard on the same terms as in Ontario; the Alberta pages of Spin Casino and Jackpot City don't name it.

Paysafecard casino questions

Yes. Paysafecard sells Canadian-dollar codes from C$10 to C$250 through retailers whose logos on its Canadian site include Canada Post, Esso and Canadian Tire Gas+, and through an online partner shop.
Yes, at casinos that offer it in the cashier. On November 8, 2026 we confirmed it on the public payment pages of Jackpot City, bet365, PlayOJO's Ontario site and Spin Casino. The casino still verifies your identity before it pays out, and in Ontario you should play only at sites on the iGaming Ontario list.
Not to the code. Paysafecard's terms say codes can't be reloaded, and all four casinos we checked treat it as deposit only: bet365 pays out by bank transfer after a Paysafecard deposit, and Jackpot City and Spin Casino list Interac for withdrawals. Check the withdrawal tab before you deposit.
Paysafecard keeps your card and bank details out of the cashier and limits you to the codes you bought, at most C$400 per payment. Interac e-Transfer can also take withdrawals where the casino offers it, so one method covers both directions.
For a recreational player, the Canada Revenue Agency's income tax folio S3-F9-C1 says a windfall is not taxable and that gambling is generally not a business except in very exceptional circumstances. Separately, FINTRAC requires casinos authorized in Canada to report payouts of $10,000 or more, including linked payouts within 24 hours.
Editorial summary
Treat Paysafecard as a way in, and sort out the way out before you buy a code. Outside Ontario and Alberta, Jackpot City leads on rating at 4.5/5, and its Canadian page confirms Paysafecard deposits and Interac payouts. In Ontario and Alberta, bet365 (4.2/5) is the one we confirmed in both provinces; in Ontario, PlayOJO and Spin Casino also take Paysafecard on their provincial sites.
